Welcome to Hanson River
Maintenance.
A long established family firm based in the heart of Shropshire
England. Aiding in the continual improvement of global watercourses
and lakes.
Hanson River Maintenance started out over 30 years ago as a
family business based in the county of Shropshire, England.
At that time the plant control was mainly carried out by hand.
In the mid 1970s we acquired our first prop driven weed cutting
boat - The Rolba.
We currently have a fleet of various waterborne weed control
craft, which includes three amphibious aquatic plant control
machines, propelled by biodegradable, hydraulic oils. Accompanying
these are several tyred and tracked excavators, tractors and
other water associated plant, which are operated by a small
highly skilled workforce of multifunctional operators.
Since the company began we have carried out many different aspects
of work on watercourses and lakes in England, Wales and Europe
under contract to British Waterways, Internal Drainage Boards,
Severn Trent Water, The National River Authority, The Environmental
Agency and many other private bodies. Overseas contracts catered
for, specialists and equipment provided, even at short notice.
Our professionals have skills to suit any water problem or issue,
in any country.
